Lent Lunch 2026
Lent, which starts on Ash Wednesday, is the Christian season of preparation about 40 days prior to Easter. Lent is a time when many Christians prepare for Easter by observing a period of moderation and spiritual discipline. The purpose is to set aside a time for reflection, a time to pray and to listen for God.
Lent Lunches 2026
Churches Together in Cheadle Hulme offer a chance to share fellowship each Saturday in Lent from 12 noon to about 2 pm, at a different member church. Everyone is welcome to join us.
A simple lunch of a choice of home-made soup, with bread and a hot drink is provided at no charge - but we hope that those who join us will want to make a donation to Christian Aid.
We also have time to meet, chat and enjoy one another’s company. Come and go as suits you.
All are welcome.
