Harvest 2026

 CHMC Harvest Festival:

Sunday 13th September

This year we will be once again supporting Chelwood Foodbank and The Wellspring

Food donations will be taken to Chelwood Foodbank.

The foodbank have had a very busy summer with an increasing

number of referrals along with supporting many families with

the Holiday Support scheme, so shelves are very depleted.

The following items are always needed:

Tinned items - meats, tuna, tomatoes, fruit, vegetables, soup, rice pudding/custard,

Jars - cooking sauces, jam, coffee

Packets - cereal, long life milk, tea, biscuits, crisps

Household - toilet rolls, washing up liquid, cleaning sprays

“Every can, every box, every packet, adds up”

We are also supporting The Wellspring in Stockport with their

appeal for coats and clothing to help people who are homeless.

The Wellspring are asking for men’s waterproof/winter coats

or anoraks, joggers, t shirts, hoodies/fleeces, socks, hats, gloves and trainers.

The Wellspring are also accepting women’s clothing and would appreciate

any rucksacks or sleeping bags.

Please ensure that all items are clean and in reasonable condition.

We will have the opportunity to make a donation to support the work of

All We can, the Methodist Church’s Relief and Development charity,

as they work for a Harvest that Lasts, the “Harvest of Education.”
