Evening Worship

What is it like?

Contemporary, with occasional reflective services

When is it?

Sundays, 6:30pm

Our evening service has, for many years, had a relaxed and contemporary style - using many of the more modern songs - and has focused on providing a less formal setting where we can come together to offer our worship to God and hear his word for our lives.

We are currently holding two evening services each month, normally, but not always, on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. These services will often be led by Rev. Philip Peacock or Rev. Louise Gough but from time to time will be led by a local preacher.

The service on second Sundays will be reflective and may use Iona or Taize material. From time to time we offer alternative worship formats such as discussions on a theme.

The service on the fourth Sunday will be traditional in style and include Holy Communion with Prayers for Healing and Wholeness.

We may use recorded hymns or live music from the Singers or a small worship band.

Please check upcoming services for further details.
