Holy Communion

Holy Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, is an important act of Christian worship in which we eat bread and drink wine* to remember that Jesus Christ sacrificed his life so that we could be forgiven and be
reconciled to God.

The small piece of bread and tiny glass of wine represent the body and blood of Jesus. We normally celebrate Holy Communion on second Sunday mornings and fourth Sunday evenings. In the mornings once a quarter and in the evenings each month the communion service incorporates prayers for Healing and Wholeness.
