Prayer requests

An Offer to Join in Prayer with You

At the moment, we know that many people are praying more than usual. We would be delighted to share in praying with you.

When the church building is open you are welcome to write a prayer in our prayer book, but that is not currently possible so please

Message us via our Facebook page (Cheadle Hulme Methodist Church)

Place a written request in the prayer box while we collect for Chelwood Foodbank from 11 am to midday in the car park.

Please put ‘prayer request’ at the start of you message and include only first names. If you are including personal information, obtain permission where possible.

A small team from the church family will commit to praying with and for you from the safety of their own homes.
Prayers will be read in confidence - usual safeguarding exceptions would apply.

The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4 v 5-7

Prayer is just ‘talking to God’- a request for help, an expression of thanks, seeking forgiveness or expressing praise to God. It can be spoken, silent or sung….. and while we are offering to join our voices with yours, above all be assured that anyone can pray whether you consider yourself a “praying person” or not!

Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. James 4 v 8
