Children’s and Youth Activities
Creche - Helpers look after the small children, 0 to 3 years old, during the Sunday morning service (10 - 11.15 am). The children play, leaving their parents free to enjoy the worship.
Cradle Roll - Baptism and dedications are arranged in discussion with the Minister and usually take place during our Sunday morning worship on an individual basis.
Toddlers – Every Wednesday morning during term-time from 10.45 am til noon. The cost is £1 per family and includes drinks and snacks. There is a song time and a chance for free play with lots of toys in the main hall and the opportunity to meet other parents and carers for a chat.
Friendly food – this provides a hot meal on alternate Wednesdays during term time. It costs £2 for adults and £1 for children. There is no need to book, just turn up. Parents/carers and toddlers eat in Room 6 and seniors eat in the coffee lounge (where it is a little quieter!). The meal is served at 12.15 pm and all are welcome.
Pre-school Playgroup – Sessions are available from Monday to Friday mornings from 9.15 – 11.45 (am) term-time only. Children are taken from age 2 years 9 months. The aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment with the emphasis on learning through play. Individual care and attention is made possible by a high ratio of adults to children.
Young Church - from 3 years upwards children will go out to Young Church shortly after the start of the Sunday morning service, they will enjoy crafts, storytime, drama, games etc. to help them have a greater understanding of God and the bible.
